In 2000, CEO Anders Nilson made a calculated bet: Asian mills had invested enough to produce stainless steel at a quality that exceeded European standard. The market hadn't caught up. He built Kominox around that insight, secured the supplier relationships early, and been distributing from that position ever since.

Today we source from both Asian and European mills, because the right material depends on the application, not the origin.
What doesn't change is the depth of knowledge behind every order: twenty-five years of navigating commodity cycles, supply disruptions, and shifting trade conditions across the Nordics and Baltics. That kind of expertise isn't bought. It's accumulated.
